The creative process is an idea, a thought that forms into a physical entity.

Whether theses are our hands or other parts, it is the BODY that makes ideas, feelings and emotions turn into physical matter in the world.

The body is the channel

The body is the channel through which a thought becomes an object- visible/ hearable/ touchable/ smellable/ tastable, comprehensible.

Therefore our body is the CREATION TOOL, and so it is the one thing we should always nurture, take care of and pay attention to while we create.

Awareness of the body while creating, not only connects us to the body itself in order to control it better, but most importantly, it is a means to get around the chattered mind and connect us directly to the pure silent fountain of inspiration, a highway, let’s say, to our source of creativity.

You want to be aware of your body while painting.

You want to widen and deepen your physical vessel of creation and make sure it is flexible, free and ready to contain and convert your ideas into reality.

Remember- The flow of creativity is not happening through the tool, the pen, or the brush but through the hand that sustains it.

Ari Geva, is my body therapist. He is specialised in PTSD. We work on recognising each and every feeling and emotion I deal with and meet them on the physical level, experiencing them in the body, allowing them to be expressed corporeally, so they are clearer to comprehend and deal with.

I teach in my courses some of the techniques he uses in his therapy,  breathing techniques, that mostly help my students with all sorts of shaky hands issues.

I am inviting you to watch the replay of a most fascinating live in which I hosted Ari and where he shared some more of this valuable information and understanding of the body.

Ari teaches us practical tools of how to increase our creativity even more, by using our body correctly.

We learn ways to return into the body, connect to it in a way that is beneficial to our art and helpful for the implementation of our ideas in the physical world.
